Malaysian Catholic Students’ Council

On the 23th of April 2003, all the campus ministers and student representatives met at Pastoral Center, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Kuching, and officially constituted the Malaysian Catholic Students’ Council, MCSC.

MCSC functions as a body that collaborates and coordinates faith formation, cultural and information exchange programs (in accordance with the vision of the FABC) among the different student-leaders under the auspices of the various diocesan campus ministries. It also represents the Malaysian tertiary students to the Bishops’ Conference, to the International Movement of Catholic Students, Asia Pacific (IMCS A-P) and finally to PAX ROMANA, the international catholic organization (ICO), which has consultative status with the United Nations.
